Lisa Stein Interiors is a Sydney-based interior design studio specialising in residential interiors, from renovations and new builds to furniture, decoration and finishing touches.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Lisa believes the best interiors are not about following a particular style or trend. They are about creating spaces that reflect the people who live in them — how they live, what they love and how they want to feel in their home.
Every project begins with listening. Understanding the way a client lives, their personal style and what is important to them provides the foundation for a home that feels considered, comfortable and genuinely their own.
Lisa brings together architecture, colour, texture, furniture, lighting, artwork and carefully selected finishes to create interiors that are both beautiful and practical. Her approach is highly personal and collaborative, working closely with clients, architects and builders to bring a vision together from the initial concept through to completion.
A particular strength of the studio is the ability to see the whole picture — from spatial planning and kitchen and bathroom design through to custom joinery, furniture, window treatments, artwork and styling. Lisa works with a trusted network of suppliers and makers, sourcing quality pieces and creating custom furniture where the right solution cannot simply be bought off the shelf.
The result is an interior that feels cohesive without being overly designed; sophisticated but comfortable; timeless while still having a sense of personality.
